Brook Trout Solutions was a presenter and participant in Cloud Services Community’s gathering at the wonderful Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Denver. The Roadshow was designed to educate businesses involved in the sales, deployment and support of Cloud and Network services.
The event was very well done with professionals in several segments of Cloud Technology, sharing their ideas on the landscape for selling Cloud and IT solutions and how it has changed. This panel consisted of companies like Platte River Network, an IT solution provider located in Denver. Technology Advisors like Brook Trout Solutions. MSP’s like Kovarus and a Oracle solutions provider like 6e Technologies. who all agreed that it takes a very integrated sales process with the customer fully engaged to get to the best solution for the company.
The educational breaks included social media and how it is a must in today’s selling environment. And a great presentation from Extreme Networks on how premise based networks can leverage hybrid environments for flexibility in Technology.
There was also a panel which spoke about profitability in the cloud and how companies are transitioning from project based revenues to recurring monthly services. There was also discussions regarding alternative channels to help customers find new paths to market. The crowd was engaged, the presenters were informed it made for a great event of networking and education.
